Two albums I have not been able to stop listening to this summer as Passion Pit's Gossamer and Tallest Man On Earth's There's No Leaving Now. Although they are synth/fx and guitar based (respectively) and quasi-opposed sonically, both records are poppy, happy, deal with some heavy issues that belie the catchy hooks, and are insanely listenable from start to finish. Good for road-trippin', side-walkin', and sitting-at-home-on-your-couch-in-the-air-condition...in'.
